Mcmillan played against better competition and won state title in texas. Actually a very good game manager with good skills. Reminds me of Greg Mclroy. Not flashy but has gotten it done when nec.

Also helped that he was teammates with a beast arse WR we were trying to recruit.

We aren't signing QBs based who they may bring with them.

Are Jennings and Harris "LSU quality"? What about Lee or Jefferson? Were they LSU quality?

Jennings has won us some games, and lost some of course, Harris seems to have it. Lee and Jefferson were both sent out to the wolves with periloux's dismissal. Who knows if they were. But here's the difference between them and Cole Kelly. They all had offers to here, he does not

I don't think that's really true anymore. Some people are thinking now that McMillan had a lot more to do with it than just Lodge. I think McMillan was very underrated when you compare him to many others ranked above him. His height is probably his one big weakness.

You are ignorant if you think that Harris "has it" Jennings and Harris both are sub par QB's no matter which way you slice it. The most successful LSU offense was with Mett who was not mobile and slow on his feet (COLE). You would rather see us get another "dual-threat" QB to come in and it be the same story again take your blinders off and realize pro style pocket passer is the route that we need to go to get the ball to our playmakers

I don't know how you could possibly say this right now. Harris was 17 last year and barely saw the field when it mattered the entire season. Maybe we should wait and see a little more before you go calling people ignorant.

So Harris and Jennings don't have "it" but a three-star that hasn't even played his senior year does? Tell your son/brother/cousin/relative/bro Cole I mean no harm in that statement but it's you that needs to take the blinders off

Good luck trying to actually debate with that. The Cole camp is so stuck up his arse they can't see anything else, like logic

We don't need a project QB in this class

i wouldnt say he is a project...but our track record of incoming qbs lighting it up isnt very good...id rather go back to the old days of a qb learning the system for two or three years and waiting his time and lightin it up his rsjr and rssr year...or rssoph and rsjr year...and the way it looks...we have two project qbs on our hands already because neither have lived up to the hype everyone has given them

but he just isn't LSU caliber

since we currently have LSU Caliber qbs on our roster so far... The reasonable judgement is the guy has the body to be a great passer (nfl drafts players just on this) and has better feet than Mett had...with some coaching from Cam...he could be better than Mett especially with the weapons LSU has...i just dont see Harris or Jennings ever getting it and being dominant...they need to be proficient and not turn the ball over for us to win like Jared Lee did until the Bama game in 2011...

I wouldn't consider Harris a project. Sorta like Matt Stafford. He has all this talent and just needs to develop. Stafford was worse than Jennings as a true freshman and Harris, if he started only half the year, would have put up better numbers. As a sophomore with almost 100 extra attempts, Matt put up close to 800 more yards and 12 more TDs but only increased his cmp% to 55%. It wasn't until his junior year that he put it all together. Similar situation to Mett and Harris looks like he could be better, earlier, than both of them.

I ultimately see Harris beating Jennings out before the season starts. Just think of what that arm talent can do with our wealth of downfield talents.

so you want to get another QB that will just waste space.
