Maybe it seems that way to you because you have no idea what you are talking about and you assess by a whole different metric than people who actually know what they are doing and who actually know the game?

I really can't believe that you said that.
I evaluate the game based on objective data, and can support my arguments with evidence. To many of the ex-players like objectivity and have nothing more than "gut-feelings." Not to mention, their statements often contradict the evidence. For example, people that say the game has changed and has become all ISO (as if it wasn't before), are contradicting the evidence. If they just read any Zach Lowe analysis, they would see that's categorically false.
