While I agree that we have bigger needs, are you really comfortable with Cooks/Colston/Toon as your top 3 WRs? Beyond that, you have mostly unknowns in Saunders/Coleman/Jones. Without Graham, we should spend an early pick on WR. And if the BPA at 31 is a WR, why not take him?

of course it'd be nice to add another expensive toy but with Cooks going to be a 90 catch plus guy, Colston will be probably a 60 catch guy. With Spiller and other young wideouts stepping up, the void isn't too huge.

yes. we had rod harper on the roster in 2009 for crying out loud. do not take a WR early.

I'm fine with a WR at 31, but not 13. I don't think Cooks/Colston is enough, but I'm putting too much into Saunders/Coleman/Jones to step up and play. If we grab a WR in the 1st, we have to split it with a LB/DE at 13.
I just really want them to solidify this o-line if they're truly that concerned about Brees' future.

yes WR is a need for this team. we really don't have anything past Colston and Cooks. The rest are UDFAs or yet to produce mid rounds (Toon). Colston has been above average lately, so I am not too confident in relying upon him. The problem with your scenerio is that at 31 BPA is most likely not going to be a WR. If it is, then take him; however, it seems that the WRs at that point are all jumbled together.
I think if one of the top 3 are there at 13, then that's a great spot to grab one. If not, then one of the second round picks will be good too. I don't see 31 being the spot.
WR is definitely a need though!
