They haven't. The defensive struggles, for the most part, happened on a team without Cole, Holiday, or QPon.
As a counterpoint, how well do you expect a team with the following to defend:
Tyreke Evans
Austin Rivers
Luke Babbitt
Ryan Anderson
Alexis Aninca
