re: LSU's offense will be dynamic in 2015

Give Les Miles and Cam Cameron some credit for being able to recognize that changes needed to be made. I can guarantee you they have been studying what Urban Meyer has been doing at Ohio State. His offense has made much better use of running backs than it did at Florida, and it has relieved a lot of pressure to make big plays from the Ohio State QBs. That is just what LSU needs, and it has all the ingredients necessary, even QBs who can play from the spread formation.
LSU will still be able to pound away with Fournette and its other bevy of RB. They will just go about it differently. The changes will make LSU more of a threat to get the ball into the hands of other offensive playmakers in ways that fit better with the skills of Jennings and/or Harris.

chilge1: are you really starting this again?
You realize that, at some point, this excuse will run out of gas, like when AJ is a senior and is still a bad QB. I assume then you'll do the right thing and finally acknowledge that it wasn't his youth - he was just bad.

You realize that this justification has already run out of gas, but your ilk would rather continue shitting on 2014 rather than looking ahead to 2015.

OSU has studs for QB's.... No QB on LSU's roster can perform or run a offense like that.

The mastermind Cameron hasn't faired much better.
Last year was Cameron's first year grooming a new QB that wasn't a 5th year senior. Don't get him confused with the futility of the position over the previous 5 years (Hatcher, JL and JJ). I gave him a pass in year 2 because he had a new QB to deal with. If they aren't better this season, then you can fairly begin critiquing him as a QB coach.
Now the QBs are also under the microscope this season with respect to their ability to improve.

Faith in God is one thing. Faith in a flawed offensive system is something totally different.

I think the receiving talent is potentially up there with 2005 wr roster group. Bowe,Davis,Green, doucet, and brazzell. They just need the facilitator to get them the ball.
I couldnt agree more

you realize this is a huge supposition right?
Its hard to look ahead to 2015 knowing what may be in store. But you're right, it is time to move on from 2014.

my quibble is that you're saying AJ is not a bad QB now. In my opinion, that's absurd. By most metrics, he's far below average.
But let's move on. I believe I'm honest enough to say that, yes, if Jennings plays well as a senior (we'll have to define what "well" means), then I'll consider why he improved, and if youth/experience was the reason, then I'll admit that.
I suppose our difference of opinion is that I believe players can show very early whether they have "it" whereas you believe it takes more time and experience. Clearly experience is a good thing and players usually do improve over time, but I just don't think it's as critical as you do.
Players can be very productive very early. Not seeing that from AJ, even after a full two years in Cam's system. Can he improve - sure. But I think it'll be marginal improvement.

I guess we all will know at the end of the year. If both QBs or one doesn't significantly improve LSU at best will pull an upset but end up with similar results to last year. I hope I'm wrong about AJ. He seems like a great guy that works hard. Brandon clearly has more talent in arm strength, speed, and quickness. If he cannot win the job or falters when he does, LSU will probably not do well. I hope I am wrong about AJ or that Brandon comes ready to play this year.

You are a helpless sunshine pumper with zero sense of reality...
So what excuse are you gonna use when AJ is no better at the end of this year as last year??????

You guys realize we've had 1 really good passing season since 2007???????????????? See a pattern????????

I don't think all of them are that much better athletes than either Jennings or Harris. They have just been asked to make easier types of reads and throws.

This is completely dependent on the system being run in high school and in college. A high school spread QB can make an easy transition to spread in college. The same QB will take a great deal of time to mature in a pro offense.
Our problem with getting kids to play early is that LSU and LA high schools are not on the same page. We either need to adjust our offense, stop recruiting the state, or build and maintain depth.

That he isn't built for this level of football. Although what you propose is highly unlikely.
