Interesting. Never know how much truth there is in those rumors, but Rothstein is pretty reputable.
I'd personally be fine not having Newman. Incredible player and would be a great get, but I'm very comfortable with the depth, experience and talent that we currently have with Hornsby, Quarterman, Patterson, Gray and Blakeney. Thats arguably the best backcourt LSU has had in a long, long time.
