Its their last real chance, although this one was their last easy one, and their best chance since 1994. After next season they will be in salary cap hell. Lots of big contracts that they will not be able to pay out and they will lose a lot. They pretty much went all in on this season, and they mortgaged their future off for it. After next season i would say they are done for at least 4 seasons. I see them in a situation similar to the one that the Bruins are in. Chicago will also be in a similar situation as well in the future when it comes to sale cap issues.

The Blackhawks have some good young talent in the system and their core locked up for a bit. They've retooled before, they'll retool again. The Central is getting tougher though as I see the Wild really coming on strong in the future.
