Yes we have Southern Pride smokers in both restaurants. Siegen has two and Acadian has one.
I do proudly own both restaurant, and feel very fortunate to have grown up in Baton Rouge.
The Louisana culture I was apart of for 32 years allowed me to bring our culture to the West. We have opened 9 restaurants in the mountain west basically copying the TJ Ribs formula.
Our managers in the West envie the folks of Louisiana. They want to emulate a place where everyone is over the top friendly, and where the food is not only great, but tells a story.

I'll be in Big Sky in August. I stay anonymous on here but we have a big group for Starr's 40th BD. Will definitely hit Chop House and maybe at the Mexican joint in Belgrade. Went to Belgrade back in September. Good looking little manager over there boss...

Burke - Good to hear things are back to business. I remember the first location on highland back in school, and my wife and have enjoyed TJ's since then.
For a place that's been around nearly 30 years - quite an accomplishment - some times may be off and there will be ups and downs. True of any business open that long. I don't get the negativity though. Went there a few weeks back for lunch and had one of the best hamburgers in town. Friends from LSU come back into town and they'll want to go back for something they used to eat while in school. Never hear anyone complain.
