Not implying anything will or won't happen, I'm explaining that Cersei believes she handled the problem you inquired about.
Technically she didn't commit adultery with Lancel, her husband was dead. Granted it was Lancel who facilitated his death.

gotcha. i was under the impression the lancel romps were an ongoing thing over a period of time.
even if you take him out of the equation isn't basically like tywin the only one not to know (or admit to know) that all of cersei's kids are fathered by her brother? isn't it supposed to be the worst kept secret in westeros (maybe next to renly/loras)
i would think the faith militant wouldn't take too kindly to that and i guess if they can imprison a sitting queen, imprisoning a queen mother ain't no thang.

It doesn't matter if she committed adultery or not, I'm pretty sure that the Sparrows don't take too kindly to fornication, especially when it is with a cousin.
