I never understood this. He's like Michael Jordan to me. He might very well be a shitty person IRL, but as a young black kid growing up and playing golf in the 90's, seeing him do what he did gave me lots of great memories and someone to pretend I was playing with my friends.
I don't get upset by Tiger haters like I used to, just don't really understand it I guess.

He was a whiny bitch for a while, matured, and then wrecked his family life. Then he found buddhism, and now I don't know what to make of him.
But he was certainly a shitty person for a while, so I don't know why you wouldn't understand why people hated him.

There was a ton of hate the last few years, but I think his tremendous struggles have softened some of that hard core golf hate. It still exists in some circles especially with the golf nerds on the MSB.
