What was Jays motive? She keeps saying Adnan's motive was not proven and implying Jay did it, but never giving a motive for Jay.

Who knows? I don't think anybody had much of a motive. Beside, determining a motive is inherently reductionistic and often too easily impacted by cognitive biases. It's often a red-herring.

One thing the politically correct crew at NPR totally avoid mentioning is the attitude toward women in the the muslim culture. Adnan Syed is muslim and was actively involved at the mosque and his parents were strict. He had broken many, many customs to have that relationship with Hae, and she dumped him. That kind of shite does not sit well with the muslim man who is supposed to rule totally and completely over the female's life.

Also, like the person above pointed out, Jay has no motive at all.

We'll probably never know Jays motive in this situation. In the recorded tapes, he makes it sound like Adnan had dirt on him and that he was the "criminal element" at Woodlawn HS. Which sounds like made up bullshite to me.

It's also convenient that 6+ hours of questioning was not recorded between Jay & the two detectives.
