Sure. Without a life jacket though... seems risky.

I can only imagine the shock and fear is what got him. There is no current, so how could you not grab the boat or lose your grip on a paddle?

Yeah this is the part I dont get. How did he just sink?!? People float, they don't just sink out of site like that without being weighed down. I just don't get it. It's tragic for the family but the story doesn't make sense to me.
