While everyone is fixated on Kentucky losing last night, the real topic of discussion should be how this is the best title game matchup in years. I believe 2008 was the last time two #1 seeds played for the title and that was an overtime game. I fully expect this game to be played in the high 70s to mid 80s and it will be fantastic to watch.

This seems like the first title game in several years featuring two big boys going head to head and not two underdogs (last year) or a colossal mismatch (Kansas/UK 2012).

Duke/Wisconsin. Who wins?

Also worth noting that one of Wisconsin's three losses was 80-70 against Duke in Madison. That was a long time ago (December), but it is the best point of reference we have.

Wisconsin will be the popular answer. But I really think it's too close to call it. I hope Duke, but I'm expecting a good game regardless.

I have no idea who wins this game.

I'm not taking what happened in December into account. Duke shot out of their minds (65%), Wisconsin barely shot 40%, and they were still within striking distance in crunch time.

Both teams are markedly different now than they were five months ago. I actually think Wisconsin is a better team with Bronson Koenig running the point, with respect to Trae Jackson who looked good in the first matchup.

Duke.
It's too bad Wisconsin doesn't get more than a day off because they have to be mentally exhausted after last night.

I'm a Duke fan and I hope they get it done.

But if I had to bet on it I'd take Wisconsin. They don't turn it over, they don't foul and they have a ton of guys who can score.

Duke struggled defensively most of the year. They did have an incredible defensive game plan vs. MSU but MSU is offensively challenged.

Wisconsin has the experience as well.

Even though Winslow could be a huge difference maker, I think Duke's depth finally catches up to them tomorrow night.
