First of all, people are focusing one one small example of what the entire law is about. Secondly, it simply gives a person the right to defend themselves in court using religion as a defense (among other things). The jury would still make up their own mind.....
This law doesn't allow for any more or less discrimination than any preceding law.
If you were a Catholic Church and an die-hard atheist knocked on your door and wanted to attend your service, you don't think they should be able to turn him away?

Does the business belong to you?
Do you believe that the transactions of commerce is a right?
Who are you to tell a fellow private citizen what he can do with his property and can't do with it and who are you tell someone that they have to serve someone they don't want to seve?
It's amazing how many people really don't understand the sacred value of private property.
