Jindal has been good economically. That doesn't mean he's been particularly good in a fiscal sense. There is a difference between excelling at fostering business growth in an area, and being able to finance one's government. Jindal has excelled at the former but is failing miserably at the latter.

That is a good point. But I don't know why he is willing to cut his nose off to spite his face.
