I thought Pitino already announced he was done in the next few years

His win total is the most impressive. Calipari would have to have 10.5 more undefeated seasons to match.

It's impressive for the fact that there are so many more teams that play basketball. You have the usual suspects in football. But in basketball you have the basketball only schools, ala Gonzaga, Villanova, etc.

Only in college basketball are coaches and players so heralded for qualifying for a semifinal round. Yes there are 64 teams and it is somewhat notable but Final Four appearances are lauded far more frequently than NCG appearances.
I say this meaning no disrespect to Coach K for his accomplishments in any way, but this cultural fascination with the alliteration of the phrase "Final Four" is puzzling to me. It's a semifinal.
F4 = hardware
NCG = no hardware

Donovan has the best chance.
Unfortunately, Billy D won't be at Florida forever. The allure of the NBA is too great. Same goes for Calipari, no way will he stay at Kentucky forever, he will return to the NBA.
Coach K wins. Probably won't be another coach like him in our lifetimes.

Didn't he already try the NBA for 3 hours? It seems like he's been at Florida forever.

19 years here. Does he really have much more to prove? I mean I would love for him to stay, but I think he bolts either this offseason (just the circumstances surrounding it - something doesn't feel right this offseason) or when his last kid graduates high school (which is in three or four years, I believe).
