I was going to listen to the post game, but I think it would've only made me more angry.

Thank you cheerwine for the PBP. Two terrible base running blunders. Horrible managerial decisions on pitching, bunting, etc. No clutch hitting, shaky fielding, and UK trying their best to give the game back to LSU.
It is baseball and you never want to react to one game. I'm cool with PM letting Poche stay in after the double and the first single, I wasn't happy with him still pitching on the next single, but any fool knew he was done then except perhaps PM.
LSU may very well win the next two and the series and have a gaudy record and ranking, but that was disturbing crap tonight.

This. I think he knew he fricked up in the 11th.
And the tweet is telling us that he indeed figured it out. At least that's what separates him from fricking Miles.
EDIT: Sorry, it appears he is only taking blame for his players' mistakes and not his own incompetence. I should have known better.

Two runners on base, one bunt moves both runners into scoring position where one hit ties the game. Chinea has 15 rbi's in about 1 million at bats. He wasn't going to get a hit there, he was much more likely to hit into a double play like he did the previous at bat.
Why is a kid 0-2 in his career inserted into a tied SEC game in the 8th inning?
Come on, man.

give away an out and take the bat out of a guys hands with no outs and runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs?! never understood that crap. let the fricking players play and hit. this kind of baseball pisses me off. u let the batter swing away in that position in those circumstances...you need 2 runs. i hate it when we do that...wtf was bregman running for anyway when he got hit by the ball...sounded like it was a base hit and we screwed ourselves out of a win...kentucky blows and this loss hurts. i blame the head coach for this one. im sure many disagree but i dont give a shite. pisses me off that we gave away a game we should have won. dammit

What's lost in all of this is Chinea's royal frick up that gave up those two runs. He was playing off the bag, got a candy hop, and still let it get through. You just can't do that.

Total team loss coaching playing whatever...it sucks to be #1 and 21-4. I just hope we can bring back smoke lavall

We did swing away in the 10th and 11th. Right into two double plays that a bunt would have rendered impossible.

Ugh. Thanks for adding to the discussion shithead

Gotta love the 'you can't be critical of highly-paid coaches fricking up a game' club because "we still good GEAUX TIGAHS brahh."

This is such a miserable place.

It was a really frustrating game. I reay wanted a sweep this weekend, but the main objective is to win these series so hope we do so. Just hate seeing such a wasted effirt tonight where managing truly affected the outcome a number of times.
One of their runs should not have even been as the hitter at the time leaned into a hit by pitch. He leaned in twice with intent to take one for the team and was successful the 2nd time around. Ump should have enforced the rule as it was obvious.. But it's moot, managing was off tonight.

This. I can handle a loss when things just aren't going right for us (like Arkansas last week), but ones like this, where we had multiple opportunities to win and kept throwing it away, are a lot tougher to swallow. Nothing we can do now but bounce back and take the series, though.

Lol if someone's opinion doesn't match geauxxxx or ell, they are idiots. What a great discussion board.

Let us know when you have an opinion other than Chinea is the greatest batter ever with RISP. K thx
