Kentucky's Starting Five vs Past NCAA Champs

How do you think this year's UK team compares with past college champs? They would probably take anyone since the UCLA teams of the '70s on depth, but I think there are some starting fives that were just as good. I made this list of some that would be in the mix (draft picks in parenthesis), but there are obviously more. So how would UK's starting five this year fare against these starting fives?
1999 Duke (lost in Champ Game):
PG - William Avery (#14)
SG - Trajan Langdon (#11)
SF - Chris Carawell (#41 in 2000)
PF - Shane Battier (#6 in 2001)
C - Elton Brand (#1)
2001 Duke:
PG - Chris Duhon (#38 in 2004)
SG - Jay Williams (#2 in 2002)
SF - Mike Dunleavy Jr (#3 in 2002)

2004 UConn:
PG - Taliek Brown (und)
SG - Ben Gordon (#3)
SF - Rashad Anderson (und)
PF - Josh Boone (#23 in 2006)
C - Emeka Okafor (#2)
2005 UNC:
PG - Raymond Felton (#5)
SG - Rashad McCants (#14)
SF - Jackie Manuel (und)
PF - Marvin Williams (#2)
C - Sean May (#13)
2006-07 Florida:
PG - Taurean Green (#52)
SG - Lee Humphrey (und)

C - Al Horford (#3)
2009 UNC:
PG - Ty Lawson (#18)

man that 2001 Duke team was stacked

In my opinion, they would lose a seven game series to the 06-07 Florida team, and the 2001 Duke team. Not sure about the 2005 Carolina team.

I think I'd be biased knowing how the players from other teams panned out. Ill inevitably be comparing some NBA studs to College kids who may be future NBA studs but UK has too much depth to know for sure yet.
Plus idk the future

you need 2011 UK on this list

That 06-07 Florida team would probably win. They'd have the bigs to compete.

Also, it's not their starting 5 that makes them historic. Their 5 is amazing and stacks up with some of those listed, but the depth is what makes them historic

09 UNC was so frickin stacked

Holy shite that team was loaded.
Fab Five were incredibly talented as well. I've said many times on this board that 1990 UNLV and 1996 Kentucky were the two best I have ever seen and I'll stick with that.
2005 UNC was as good as anyone in the last 10 years. Sean May could hold his own in the paint with anyone.

1996 UK
PG- Anthony Epps
SG- Tony Delk
SF- Derek Anderson/Ron Mercer
PF- Antoine Walker
C- Walter McCarty

'96 UK was better offensively, but this UK team is the best defensive team I've seen in a very long time. I would've loved to have seen those two face off.

CBB sucks now, so you should probably include teams that were good when it was relevant sport.
As an example, the '91 LSU team got eliminated early, but would run roughshod over this UK team.
Interestingly, you left off the '11 UK team, which actually included a once in a generation player. Your list of teams/choices are just weird. Also, why does it matter where they are drafted? Should include teams that had players succeed in the NBA.

2006-07 Florida:
(If bench included, no one can compare with this year KY imo. Way deeper than any of those teams)

So what are we judging? College teams or nba teams? I never like these discussions because players get built up or torn down based on their professional careers.
Like Marvin Williams didn't even start and was only pretty good (a worthy member of that team no doubt and in fact him coming off the bench might actually help that teams argument) in college and we have him listed as a starting power forward and #2 overall draft pick.
I just don't think any of that should matter. The 2010 Kentucky team, for example, is magically getting better and better every year.
