Glad somebody finally wrote on this underreported topic.

Jennings' performance last year was bad for much of the season, but he really did impress me with his running ability against A&M. If he can do that consistently against better defenses, he can be more of a weapon offensively in spread situations with Fournette

I hope this is a typo below about the Jennings quote:
quote:
Say what you will about how LSU's coaching staff used its quarterbacks last year, but even Harris knows he wasn't fit to be LSU's starting quarterback in 2014. "Looking back, I would say I wasn’t ready," Jennings said.
A typo is when you have a wrong letter typed, or switch letters like a dyslexic might see. My spell checker changes letters for me like that, inventing ideas I did not have in mind. When the entire word is wrong it is not a "typo" per se.

Thanks for explanation, nobody knew what a typo was. It could have just been the writer got confused because he was thinking about both quarterbacks while writing this. And lets be honest, neither of them were really ready so might as well just include them both in the same quote.

The media tried something similar against Brownback here in Kansas last year, and he got re-elected. Don't buy into the BS.

Obviously it’s a wide-open quarterback position, quarterback job, so everything is still even reps-wise.
Seems like a strong statement coming from Harris, but I sure hope this is true.

Of course AJ had to do the interview. Harris is too busy chasing tail around campus to be bothered with football stuff.

I've never done one of these, so here goes.

3rd spring practice. If jennings doesn't have it yet, he'll never get it.
I'm pretty sure the end of that sentence was supposed to say "Harris said."

Jason Campbell says hi.
After 3 yrs of misery, took Auburn to undefeated season in 2004, his Sr year. So sometimes it does take longer. Hope happens sooner at LSU.

Since you know so damn much, how long did it take you to "get it" when you played major college football?

Hell, no one even mentions the most-concerning part of Harris' quote. When I read Harris say "Obviously I know everything I need to know now." - it makes me shake my head in wonder. I hope that is a misquote, because that is borderline delusional. At some point he is gonna have to grow some humility and recognize the immense task ahead of him if he is wanting to lead this team to glory.
There are 10-year veterans in the NFL that still don't know everything they need to know.

Campbell had 3 OCs, which hindered his development.

Lee and Jefferson went from Crowton, to Kragthorpe (however briefly), to frickin' Greg Studrawa.
That's laughably bad..
Rising Junior with Cam Cameron as QB Coach. Jennings, should he be the starter, has no reason not to perform.

Harris should have got the start vs a&m because it was perfect for him to have great success against their pathetic D. Jennings best game against the worst D was still not above average.. But if Harris was dealing with a minor injury then I understand.

Chip Kelly never played the game of football.
Is he qualified to coach it?
