And we were right. You've seen much more patience and discipline the last 3 games. That's the adjustment that was made. Much better ABs up and down the lineup. Seeing more pitches, productive outs.

Think he is referring to the day killian pitched. Everyone on here was freaking out during the game that we werent driving his pitch count enough, but we were gettin really good swings. Think posters were ignoring that fact. Plus he threw like 80% strikes, and alot of them were very hittable pitches. So i was happy.

Productive outs do not equate to rise in average. I'm not arguing productive outs are a bad thing. I'm just saying a rise in batting average is due to attacking the best pitch you see. And that may be an 0-0 fast ball. So be it. Don't rave about batting average and then complain when we are getting hits but not running up a pitch count.

And I don't mean you personally. Just the board in general.
