LSU likes to put students in cages and poke them with sharp bamboo poles. Tulane will be much more pleasant. Go to Tulane unless you want to be a plaintiff lawyer and litagate. LSU grads come out like twitchy pit bulls and will stomp the nuts off of most lawyers, but only in litagation. For transactional work they are not as good as Tulane.
Also the network of LSU grads who spent three years in the suck is unbreakable. They can be a Band of Brothers that will lie cheat and steal, to help each other, judges, lawyers, clerks, Supreme Court Justices, whatever.

I honestly had no idea there was such a thing as "transactional work" until I graduated from LSU and moved to Houston.

Agree with first part. Don't agree with second. And I'd spell it "litigation," even as an LSU grad.

That is definitely true of your first year section (or at least was). You'd bend over backwards to help a section mate.
