Maybe that was what broke the camels back.. Chavis was tired of coaching a strong D when the offense was VERY ineffective almost every game against quality teams... NOW what he did during the time leading up to the bowl game was way wrong. I agree. But these players had played he whole year. They had their chances against ND, But it looked to me like it was the same D that played against MSU and AU........And at that point Chavis wasn't going anywhere... Bottom line is that it looks like some LSU fans just are looking for something to continue to cry about.. They are the most spoiled fanbase in the country.... I watched the whole game and it looked like the D showed up and was playing the best they could. ND just outsmarted LSU's D... IMO the outcome would have been the same had Chavis NOT done anything with A & M........

Personell adjustments were made after auburn. That's why you saw a better defense. Adjustments that were probably forced by Mikes because they coincide with him ripping the defense. Just like the o reverting back to the 30s style. And it worked until the Arkansas game.

What we saw against nd was a d that made no adjustments and couldn't get off the field. Nd had their way with us, not allowing LSU to control the game on the ground.
