You probably didn't throw with the same intensity as during baseball season.. The arm needs the long term rest and that why seasonal sports are best at the youth level.. The research is becoming pretty definitive on this.. Today's culture of year round travel ball is putting unneeded stress on youth arms.

idk we played with tennis balls all day. Throwing as hard as we could...also wiffle balls. But I will say the only time my arm felt fatigued was after pitching....not sure if that was throwing curveballs or just the amount of pitches.
