OT Car Enthusiasts: Bluetooth Car Code Scanners - Reviews?

I saw something on my Cool Tools section of Flipboard regarding an OBD2 code scanner that would plug into my car, and then via Bluetooth communicate codes that an Auto Zone or a mechanic would ordinarily have to pull for me. It's only about $20 or so.
Does anyone here on the OT this morning have experience with them? There are tons of reviews but just curious as to whether anyone here has some firsthand experience.

For the $11 on Amazon, you might as well give it a try.
I've got this one ....
I love it. I bought an older (2004) truck to do hauling and I've used it several times.

I have a $80 version similar to that, but I can have a digital dashboard displayed on my android tablet with custom gauges as well. I think it can also clear the codes. It's called an OBDlinkMX.

Yep. Most use the Torque app for Android. They will pull codes and allow you to clear them.
Also, you'll be able to click the code to get info on what the code is for.
Best $13 I've spent on amazon ever.
Torque app allows you to monitor all kinds of different computer, engine and transmission parameters. You can add all kinds of different gauges to the "home page" of the app.

The elcheapo China copies on Amazon do not work. When they do, it isn't real time data.
The ones for 80ish do.
I have torque pro on a dash tab to interface.
Allows me to check oil temp, coolant temp, diff and transfer temps, and transmission temp without having a ton of chintsy gauges.
