I understand, but I didn't see coach miss FTs or easy layups.
Not finishing games falls on the coaching. Not executing falls on the players.
Call a timeout, yell at the old lady sitting behind the bench, punch a baby, do something. You've got to find a way to motivate your players and get them to focus.

This was mostly on Jones. The players act as if they could care at all to concentrate when they are shooting free throws, especially when they have a cold spell and missed a few prior.
He does not sub correctly. At 8-9 minute mark he should have put in Bridgewater and Epps and sat the 2 M's at the corner of the bench to rest them and pep them up!!!
Then insert them back after 2-3 minutes rest. Then call a timeout when a run is in the making from the other side to break the momentum of the run and to re-focus his team, change defenses, tell them to run a better offense, set plays, whatever!! He does not know how to do this.
3 timeouts is like 6 minutes rest. He could have called them back to back to back (instead of leaving themmin his pocket) to rest the starting five. That plus the rest minutes I mention above for the 2 M's, hell they could have taken a 12 minute power nap in the locker room.
The point is the top 5 players he plays too many minutes by wanting them on the floor late could have gotten 6-10 minutes of rest below the 10 minute mark, and still had a nice lead to protect but JJ does not know how to utilize a bench nor time outs.... And thats a shame for a position as head BB coach at LSU...Inexcusable
Also, our guys may be a bit talented but they are not smart enough to settle each other down. There is no leader out there...
