He always does something before every fight to get his name out there after the initial signing and hoopla. This is it. He is just marketing/attention getting. If you are a fan of his it is marketing. If you aren't it is attention seeking behaviors.

No but this doesn't come out unless his camp releases information. These type of things aren't negotiated or released to the public.
He doesn't have to land a punch to win this fight, since it is in Vegas. As I said, he is the new Sugar Ray.

Manny is trying to get this added so if he does get caught he only has to pay 5 million, how do you guys not see that? Its less than 5% of his purse, it would make it worth it to juice.

How does one post on an article, without even reading the article? Makes them sound semi retarded.
Manny's camp seems to be not smart, because they continue to make Manny look in competent.

I side with the Manny camp. As far as people saying it should have been in the original contract, this is a separate issue that they wanted to have in the drug testing contract(which is separate from the original). This wouldn't change any other provision or anything else. It will just add a 5 million fine to be paid to the other camp. It doesn't mean if Manny pops hot, that all he has to do is pay the 5 mill. If it is in the contract that if a person fails the drug test then they are eq'd, this will still happen on top of having to pay the 5 million.

Yall know I cant stand Mayweather and 100% team Pacquiao, but I actually agree with Floyd's camp on this one. It should have been negotiated into the original contract.
Manny group likely knew that nothing would come of it but just wanted to pull same shite money had been doing for years.

Which drug testing contract are you talking about? The one that's already been signed and agreed to? That was the time to put that into the contract, not now.
ETA: Pretty amateur approach by Pac's legal team.

He's a piece of shite. Couldn't care less. I'll never see the guy in person. He's gonna work Manny. He's s treat to watch fight. Dude has serious problems, and is the biggest piece of human trash in sports
If you read the article, a reasonable person would come to the conclusion that the Pacquiao camp are the ones that are bitches.
Why are they trying to soften the penalities surrounding PED use? Kinda reinforces what Mayweather's been accusing him of all along. If Manny's caught juicing, it's going to cost him a lot more than $5 million. Ex post facto contract demands are suspicious to me.

Added Ellerbe: "If Manny Pacquiao tested positive, it is going to cost him a whole lot more than $5 million. All parties signed a contract agreeing to every term. Where has this idiot Koncz been? It sounds like he didn't read the documents they signed. No wonder why his fighter is always confused. It sounds like that idiot is suggesting there's a $5 million price tag if Manny comes up positive. That sounds suspicious. All I know is we welcome random testing as we always have."

At this point Pacquiao could be found to have been the mastermind behind 9/11 and he'd still be beloved next to Mayweather.
No one cares that Pacquiao is no boy scout himself. There was no downside for this contract demand leaking because people were going to blame Mayweather for it anyway.

"Michael Koncz is an idiot, and Manny Pacquiao should be ashamed to have him as his representative, in my opinion," Ellerbe told ESPN.com. "It's obvious he didn't read the contract. Why would he have his fighter sign something he was not happy with? The deal was negotiated up and down by his promoter [Bob Arum of Top Rank] on behalf of Manny with Floyd and Mayweather Promotions, and it's been well documented in the media for quite some time.
"If this moron didn't convey his fighter's wishes when the negotiation was going on, that's their problem. This is a lame-arse attempt to generate publicity."
Ellerbe's quotes from the article are pretty funny.

Not like I hid that I didn't read it and made a comment based off history.
Yet two post above this one has a quote which seems clear it came from Mayweather supporter.
As I said, Mayweather has a history of Attention seeking or marketing. Depending on your point of view.
