Same here. We used to just walk in at the old South Endzone entrance all the time. During the day, you could always find people running the stadium steps.

I never did "it" on the field, but me and my college girlfriend did it in the old pressbox.

We also used to go tape our alcohol below our seats the Friday before every home game -- never had to worry about getting "caught" bringing alcohol into the stadium on gameday. And, even if you did get caught, all they did was confiscate the booze and any flask you may be carrying it in so it wasn't that big of a deal - other than the fact that you'd have to go through the game sober or, more than likely, coming down off a buzz.

Replace booze with bombs and you have the perfect explanation for why they don't just leave it open.

Verge Ausberry spoke to one of my classes in college and said they sweep the whole stadium twice every time people go in there. Once before they unlock the gates, and once after everyone is out.
