If his name his Charles and you only call him Charlie when he's younger and Charles as he's grows older it's cool with me.

Yea I guess you're right. Reminds me of Charles Foster Kane from Citizen Kane who was pretty bad arse.

I agree. I know there are a lot of folks from down the bayou that name their kids 'nicknames' like Betty, Charlie, Pattie, etc. They actual names aren't Elizabeth, Charles, or Patricia.
