Southern is usually at the top of the SWAC they've always had a great program. Main player that comes to mind that made the MLB was Ricky Weeks. Played at Barbe I believe. Are you guys flabbergasted that a bunch of African American kids from that side of town can play some baseball? Geaux JAGS!!
