I was out there in my yak this past weekend and didn't have much luck at all with the bass.

Switched to crickets and caught a dinners worth of perch

If you turn left out of the park and drive 4 miles there is a store with live bait and other essentials on the left...

So the bream are biting huh? I was thinking of making a trip out there next week if the water in Henderson is high and nasty. If no bass bite I'm gonna break out the ultralight rod.

Thanks. Will make sure we have plenty of crickets so the boy can do some catching. Will try the bass just to say I did. Maybe I can find an 11lb fish to harass for 4 hours...
