I don't think you know how it works either hoss.

Each round has a point value.

Eta: Meaning if you wait till the elite 8 to start picking, you can't get the points from the early rounds. Meaning you will NOT win a bracket

Ok....you can earn 960 points from the elite 8, final 4, and championship game if you get them all right. Someone won one of my groups with 780 last year. Someone who was a UConn homer and picked them to win the title won my other group with just over 1000. So you wait until everyone else gets their final four teams knocked out, and you still have 960 possible points. You pick those 7 games correctly, and you stole the group without making any bold picks. You could probably even miss an elite 8 game or two if you had them losing in the final four.

Note...this would only be effective on more upset prone years. Probably wouldn't work if UK won the tourney this year...but say UK loses in the sweet 16 and everyone had them going to the final, you could jump on a new teams bandwagon and win it.
