Me! I'm a CPM fan! CPM followed a strategy that worked perfectly, setting up several game winning opportunities in extra frames. We had bad luck at the plate. Several hard hit balls were right at defenders, including one, with one out, that doubled up the runner at third. That's game over if it gets through the infield - and it should have.

When CPM gave up the DH, he was surely thinking of getting through three more innings, max. He had the arms to do that; he just didn't have the luck.

I question the wisdom of giving up the DH. We did have bad luck at the plate , though. The bear first baseman played out of his head.
