Do Bulls or heffers being more money?

Depends on who wants what and how bad they want them.
For the record, she wasn't my cow. She belonged to the previous owner of my bull. I'm just excited to have his genetics on my herd producing all half brother and sisters to the cow that sold today.

Very cool. I don't know a thing about cows, but having a herd of long horns is pretty cool.

TCC Candy Gumdrops and KC Hersey Kiss got together to make a Chocolate Dipped gumdrop.
What sweet little dam do you have for ole TCC CG to dip his gumdrop in?

In order it's...
Goldie
Hoya
Bueno Rattler
So you could name the calves something like.
Candy Gold
Sweet Tooth Hoya
And, I don't know... Rattler Gums.
A lot of people name them like race horses using a part of the sire and dams name. I never have been big on that. We name a lot of ours after people we know that share birthdays with the calves.

The push each other around with their horns, but it's just a pecking order thing. If we have one that's aggressive I haul them off to the sale barn. It's too dangerous to have a mean cow with 2 baseball bats attached to her head.
All of ours our extremely docile and will follow a feed bucket into our pens when we need to catch them.

Price of cattle can get downright scary at times, especially in the show cattle industry. $10,000+ show steers are common as hell, especially in Texas and Oklahoma. That's just when they're young, they may never win a damn thing in their lives. Another reason they're high is shows in Texas and Oklahoma usually pay damn well, especially the majors. The Grand Champion steer at the Houston Livestock Show routinely brings $250,000+. The record is $600,001. shite is ridiculous.

HOLY shite! His niece in lot 50 just sold for $90,000!!!
If you read the pedigree Candy Gumdrops sire is the sire to this cows dam.
