Because they thought they had the personnel to make a run last year, as did EVERYONE. That did not work and now they are re-tooling.

I CONGRATULATE the front office for correctly assessing the situation. And I congratulate Loomis and CSP for being ruthless counts when times call for it.

Let's all, as Saints fans hope it pans out.

and with the 1st pick of the draft the tampa bay bucaneers trade with the New Orleans Saints for 10 draft picks. The New Orleans Saints have selected....Jameis Winston Florida State.

Yea, it was a must. But at what expense.

Outside of Cam jordan, Gtaham and Still have been our 2 best draft picks of the last 5 years. In Still's case, a GREAT contract and a versatile WR. In Jimmy's case, the best playermaker in our history. 150 catches and 1800 yards gone from last year.

So let's slow down and see what we can do with these picks, and who we will add in FA at WR. If its anything like the past, all these picks for Loomis is like giving a monkey a loaded gun.

Just don't get it lost what the expense is of this re-tooling. We're robbing Peter to pay Paul
