That's mighty complicated for a stick truck.

Come along six feet rearward. Winch to the side hard. Reverse as much as possible.

Balls to the wall out of that piece.

No sub 10k pound truck is ever too stuck to get out with a winch, pulliez and a come along. Hell, forget the winch.

A full-size shovel goes a long way too.

Yea do it the hard way when there is a much easier way available

I remember my "I'm stuck and have no way to get my truck out" thread

Ended up with a receiver hitch winch on the back and the winch on the front to get it half way turned around, and then got it pulled back enough to get some hard ground under the back tires, and rode it like a rented mule out.

A wide-track D8 is what you need.

Likes others said, photos would help but since you don't have any....best thing would be a 3 or 4 part pulley setup if you have enough cable or the rear hitch mounted winch. Hi-Lift jack, shovel and tire chains are also an amazing combination. As well as 4x4 cribbage for under the tires. A skidded is also a fantastic offroad recovery vehicle.

Your dad sounds like a complete moron if hes taking his truck out muddin in the woods at his age especially with this weather

I got my ole chevy blazer hood deep in a puddle in kisatchie once. It took a vietnam era deuce and a half to get it out. If you know anyone that restores giant army vehicles, thatd be ur best bet. A hummer maybe. You really need to get 4-5 tow straps so that you can tie another car with to a tree and winch him out. Ive tried a tractor before and they cant usually get the momentum or traction

Ur best bet is another car with a 10,000 pound + winch

Prolly because you been hanging out with sissy boys. 10,000 lb winch is about as good as it gets. Will pull the horns off a steer. Havent left home without mine for the past ten years. Try a quick google before talking out your arse boy

the mythical 10000 lb Winch
