To compare he and skip is laughable, unless you are just speaking of putting their respective sports back on the map. Skip is arguably one of the greatest baseball coaches of all time.

now you're just wanting to spar, that's OK, it's all fun, but as I posted, DB was on the tip of the spear, and out there all alone pretty much, Skip was handed the keys to every thing, including the opening of purse strings, I played baseball at LSU right before Skip got there, no one gave a shite, and to this day LSU is a football school first and foremost,most of the time there were more players in the dugouts than fans in the stadium, and conditions were slightly better than my HS, which were primitive, DB "forced" BBall to the forefront
