Great read. I liked your oics from the campsite. Looked like you had beautiful weather. I just cant remember how to get to that trail.

Take exit 119 off of I-49, stay on LA 119 for a few miles then turn right onto Long Leaf Trail Scenic Byway. Stay on that road for a few miles and then on your left you will find a parking lot with restrooms. That's the trailhead for the Caroline Dorman Trail and The Backbone trailhead will be accross the street.
