splenda is fine in moderation

some people get the shits on artificial sweteners and some people say studies have shown to make people crave sugar more when you consume them

its basically triggering your brain in thinking that its about to get sugar, so when it doesn't it wants it now!

I read an article where it says if you are going to drink or eat artificial sweeteners, do so with food with carbs, therefore your brain and dopamine levels are good and its satisfied.

I recently started training at a boxing gym and eating sensible. I now feel like an idiot for all those years of diets and gym sessions. I used to think I was working out hard but I was sorely mistaken.

I don't even think of the word "diet" anymore. Truth is if I don't eat light and drink tons of water i won't make it through the workouts....so it's a win win.

Do you even know about dietary induced thermogenisis, bros?

Wikipedia FTW

Eta if that link is too dense for you -- basically the body expends energy to digest food. It literally burns calories simply digesting food. The different macros have a fairly significan effect on the amount of energy expended.
