Figured we might as well have an episode thread to keep discussion condensed to one place. Really looking forward to tonight, first 2 episodes were solid.

I loved the first episode. The girl wore on me in the second, but I guess that was the point. I'm really hoping this show takes off. I love the premise.
Also, I wasn't in the original thread, so this may have been mentioned, but this show must've been a blast to film. It's like a bored 10 year old's dream.

I just watched the first two episodes earlier today. Loved it. Will forte is so vastly underrated. He's always been a quiet favorite of mine. I only wished that this show was on Netflix and that Unbreakable Kimmie whatever was on fox. This show feels like something fox will cancel, and it would be better suited for a Netflix where they aren't driven by ratings, or at least that's what they say publicly.

Without spoiling anything, I can tell by looking at IMDB that this episode is going to bring some changes.

So far so good!

I don't like this show. I haven't laughed once during this third episode, I'm 3/4 though it.
And I didn't like the first 2 episodes. She was great on Flight of the Conchords but Kristen Schall just annoys the hell out of me on this show. I understand that is a big point of the show bit so is being funny and to me it just isn't funny.

The second 15 minutes has been way better than the first 15.

Ok so the first 3 episodes have been pretty predictable, but now is where the show can go in a few different directions. I don't know how this show will have lasting power, but it's worth watching.

Really loved the one -liner when he was talking to the mannequin about getting married to Schall.
"I'm just not sure if she's the one...well technically she's the only woman on earth so she is the 'one'..."

I watched all three episodes last night, after all of the raves here. I loved it. I'm normally not a Forte fan, but he works well on this show. Really enjoyable and funny.

I posted this in the other LMOE thread but this show really has potential. Its just a shame that it isn't on Netflix.
This show won't be the next Seinfeld but its certainly pretty good and fresh. Its a combo of the writing and Forte's delivery + the subtleties/irony. Forte makes fun of Tom Hanks for creating Wilson and then 6 months later has an entire group of friends that are balls.
