awesome story and well done on your part- on multiple levels. Anyone that devoted to their pet deserves a special place in heaven. I lost a beloved Siamese that was only 12 years old. Not much could be done for him and my wife handled te euthanasia. I still miss that damn cat

I completely understand still missing that kitty. I can't watch the euthanasia. I just cannot do it. I'd rather see them alive and looking like they're asleep doesn't cut it for me. I don't want to see a last breath. I don't want to live with that memory.

When I lost my most favorite callico kitty ever in May, my vet left me in a room with her by myself to say my goodbyes and they unlocked the back door and back gate so I could escape when I was ready without having to be seen by the packed waiting room. She told me call in my credit card the next week and not even worry about paying at that time. I just let the tech know when I was done and slipped out of the back so they could lock it back up.
