Anywho, it's the same concept as "War of the Worlds" where they can't handle an Earth "pathogen." And it can make sense from a "biological" standpoint for either way. They were never exposed to computer viruses from earth, so therefore they couldn't defend against them. But I guess that leads to a coding problem for the humans as well.
