Per person or total?
I pay that for a one-bedroom in a quiet condo complex behind all the visible ones off Brightside, but believe me when I say I am lucky as hell I have that. It was the cheapest rent I could find that wasn't a craphole.
Although I do often see "for rent" signs for a couple days in the front, so maybe.
OH.
You'll be fine. You can find a lot of places for this price.

Total 4 roommates, so me and 3 others, but yes roughly 650$ per person is our budget

For that budget, I'd look at a house in the Garden District.
Y'all could easily afford one.

Would anyone possibly know how much highland hideaway would be?
