He is from LA and his company is based here and I would be willing to bet its a couple more than a couple. Chouest is the wildcard, I have seen estimates from 4 to 17 B.
The guy from Shreveport area name is escaping me but he has been mentioned on here before.

I'm not sure when the last time his primary residence was in LA, I would think around ~15-20 years ago.
Many of the Waltons live outside Arkansas, just because they lived there at one point doesn't mean Arkansas can claim them as their billionaires (Example: Alice Walton is the richest person in Texas).

William Robinson? He founded DHL but I'm not sure he's a billionaire, who knows though. As secretive as Chouest is Robinson takes it to a whole new hermit type level.

Closer to 4B if even that, he's money is spread out over quite a bit of family.
