I don't mind the experiment for a midweek game. It is not a panic move.

Even if our infield defense suffers a bit this year (which I expect), hopefully our offense should be able to bail us out most of the time.

I midweek experiment is one thing. It's fine. I've said here that of course now is the time to tinker. But 2 things here. PM flat out said he thinks Hale is better to the public. And to me I don't like the double standards which this just highlights.

CPM is telling the media that this is a long term move. Spoke in past tense when speaking about Zardon "didn't get it done" at third base.
