I caught about 10 yesterday, 9 of which would have been great for an aquarium. Worst fishing February of my life.

At least ya'll are fishing. I'm sitting offshore reading all this!

I hear that. My club buddies are saying the same thing. I'm going to run floaters in the Red River until it gets a little better when I get home. Guaranteed meat in the freezer!!!!

We go in the spring around easter every year. Camp at the grounds in colfax. Cut shad is the best to use for bait. If you catch the river on a slight fall you will smoke them.

Going down to pigeon tomorrow morning before the front comes through. Warm temps for the past few days coupled with the approching front should have them on the banks and biting. At least I hope.

No more that 1.5-2 feet. I'll text you a pic of our set up tomorrow evening. Going over to the shop to do some woodworking.

I've caught over 150 bass since Feb 1st. Biggest one was only 4.15 lbs. Keep thinking its just a matter of time until a giant hits, Im fishing in North Florida Lakes.

I agree. Even if nobody is catching. I don't even work offshore and I haven't been able to make a single fishing trip the past month. I sure as heck have been wanting to.

My camp in in Boo's campground on the other side of the levee from the pigeon landing. The last 3-4 weeks in certain spots have been damn good. Hoping to hit em up again tomorrow before this weather screws em up for the next week or so. Should be good since we've had a few warm days in a row. I'll report back tomorrow night

They told me there was like 8 boats all fishing this one area and all were catching.

I'm not very familiar with the area myself. Although I will hitch a ride if someone offers. I am probably going with someone tomorrow but they haven't decided on the location yet.

How deep were you fishing?

We've done well the past 3 weekends there. They're not on the bank yet. You need to be fishing 4-6 deep towards the middle.
