good thing our defense was able to keep it to only being down 10-0 after 3 first half turnovers.

LSU has had great defenses since 1936. Long before ChieF WAS BORN.

absolutely, but there was nothing about the first half turnovers that should have rendered the defense "overworked" for the second half when LSU's O scored 24 points. Maybe the offense scoring that much in the 2nd half put an "unnecessary strain" on the defense which caused them to give up the 14 play drive at the end for OM's game winning FG.
