bullshite.....he wanted a years guaranteed salary regardless if he was working or not at LSU---it wasn't about "job security". The "clause" was not outrageous, and Aleva made the right decision.

id say thats half of it, the other half is the unnecessary strain...i think its totally legit...and honestly i would love to be a fly on the wall when (hopefully) he said something to Miles somewhere along the lines of "throw the fricking Ball genius" "they have 8-9 men in the box and you have NFL caliber WR's are you smoking crack?"

This is like the VP wanting to stay on if the President loses an attempt at re-election. It usually doesn't happen. How many times does the DC stay on, really?
