LSU Needs To Get Off Their Heels And Be Aggressive

Womack/Saban sets LSU up and now we're on sanctions.
Chief files suit against LSU to keep from paying the money he owes.
The SEC office has no desire to represent LSU or listen to their grievances on any issue that I can remember.
LSU does everything right and the powers of the conference keep running over Alleva and LSU. Recruits participate in it. Les is taken by surprise when Sumlin comes in and poaches Chavis. The beat goes on.
This IS NOT a criticism of LSU. I am glad that we seem to have a bunch of nice guys in charge. But, here's the reality: everyone else is out for blood and they are happy to screw LSU every chance they get. There is no "fair."
I don't want LSU to be dirty, but we need to be aggressive and recognize that NO ONE is giving LSU anything. It is dog eat dog. Hiring Coach O was a good move. We need about 12 more moves like that and we need to start punching some people in the face (figuratively).
End rant.

I don't think either of these things pisses me off as much as the Dillon Day fiasco.

Well said. The conference office exists for Bama. It's amazing Miles has had the success he has had against the Tide. He's up against Bama and the league offices, including Steve Shaw's hand-picked officiating crew led by Catfish.

What about Dillon Day made it a fiasco in relation to LSU? Just him not getting called for the stomp?
If you want to talk about refs, go back to Auburn in 2004.

I hate Bama, but reading about the Chavis lawsuit is what really got me going.
So, the day after we are on sanctions for NOTHING our former DC sues US after he breaks contract?
It is ridiculous. Tired of getting run over or having people think they can run over LSU. LSU acts like they are Miss. St. or Arkansas or something. Ridiculous.

Moreso the fact that after it occurred the first time and Les pointed it out to the officials, the behavior repeated itself without penalty.
It's not an officiating gripe, it's a player safety gripe.

Ah. Gotcha. That seems to be a recurring theme too. And the game was in Tiger Stadium. Weird.

Someone needs to lend Aleva a pair

Exactly the reason few like alleva... He's a Yes man and a bean counter. No huevos

I want to see Alleva dropping F-bombs and doing lines of blow

SEC is out to put LSU in Conference USA

It s been time for LSU to start punching back. I believe it's a big reason Saban left LSU and went to bama! No fricking way Chavis should get out of paying the money he rightfully owes LSU and the stomping of a player, let LSU even think about doing that and the field would be yellow from the flags. Day should have been suspended for the season once he decided to do it again. Won't say what I would do if I saw the punk but it would be sweet!
