Jesus. That is NOT the law, rule or regulation. You folks are mixing up owning a NFA weapon with having a FFL. The ATF can inspect the BUSINESS PREMISES of a licensed dealer and that inspection only extends to checking records against inventory. It isn't a "search" per se.
Simply owning a NFA weapon in NO WAY changes your 4th Amendment protection with regards to warrantless searches of your residence.
