haha. dude that sign was put up last year.
3rd street has gotten better. i was just throwing in a BR sucks post in there. downtown development hasnt been nearly as fast as what everyone was told it would be.

You defiant little shite. You know you saw my recollection. Unless it was removed for 10 yrs and recently put back, you lose. LL gets to Peg you tonight.
Nobody ever told me development would be fast. But Preis Tower(or whatever it was supposed to be) never happened. Remember the billboards on 110 advertising them. Smh at that debacle.
I wouldn't mind having a pad(crash pad, frick house, etc) downtown for stuff when down there with kids or without.

Isn't there some ridiculous number like 800 residencies under construction downtown right this second? 3rd Street has slowly become a go-to bar scene in BR for the over 21/non-frat crowd. There's a real grocery store downtown. I never thought I'd see that happen. IBM and those other high rise loft developments combined with all of the hotels and the gentrification of Beauregard Town are really changing the demographics of the area in a big way.
